Heart transplant... an incredible gift!

We are so thrilled, amazed and overjoyed that our Sara has a new heart. It was beautiful to see the Echo (Ultrasound on her heart) today, Sara's new heart is beating normally -something I had never seen before! We are praising God for his goodness, and thanking him for the blessing that Sara's heart is! A blessing out of a tragic circumstance for the donor family. They don't say any details of where this heart came from, but we do know that it came from another precious child. We are praying for that family, and hope that they feel God's peace and comfort. May God bless them, for how their child has blessed us.

Sara's day was much better then her night, she was on a pacemaker last night, and off of it all of today. She has been moving around more and more, so they have increased her sedation. It's important that she doesn't move much so that her body can heal. Sara's kidneys and live have taken quite a hit, and it is a slow recovery right now, please pray for improvement. Her bleeding has slowed down thankfully!

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6

Please pray for our friends: Hope, Joell, Grayson, Harrison, Isabel, Austin, Isabel F., Jace, Lukas, Muskan, Alexis, Cohen, Precious, Hilda, Melissa and Morgan.

Don't you love those PINK toes!

Dear Sarah,
We have been praying and cheering for you Sarah, both in our thoughts and from our hearts. The day your Auntie Linda phoned us to say the doctors had a heart for you we were so overwhelmed with happiness for you and your family yet saddened by another's loss. For sure that has to be the most precious gift to give. We will continue to pray for you, your big sister Haily and Mommy & Daddy. We pray that real soon you will be feeling even better and be able to get up to play. Then we would love to come visit you, give you the biggest hug in the world and you can show us those cute little pink toes of yours!
Love and prayers from Bill and Linda Roberts
PS: a little note to Mom & Dad, I am totally a non-computer person, and with Bill's hectic schedule of being away all the time (well most of the time!), I did not know we could send messages through Sarah's blog, until yesterday. So this is the first time sending a message. But, Joel and Karey, know that your family has been in our prayers all through Sarah's journey ever since we first met her last May. Hope to see you soon when Sarah is ready to have visitors.
Love and prayers to all, Linda

PTL, We are sooo overwhelmed by God's gift of perfect heart for Sara. We continue to pray for her, as she recovers from this massif surgery. It is sooo great to see her pink toes. We can't until the day her recovery is complete, she gets to go home & released from the hospital. :) But until then we PTL she is in the best care hospital & most of all God's care.
